Tony O'Neil began experimenting with technology when he was a toddler. As a young man, he was always trying to take things apart, figure out how they worked and experiment with putting them back together. He graduated from Harbor Beach Community Schools and the Huron Area Technical Center electrical/electronics program in 1999. Following high school, Tony worked for a computer repair business while enrolled at St. Clair County Community College. During this time, he continued development of his critical thinking, logic, and troubleshooting skills through courses in Electronics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Systems Integration and Programming. In May 2003, he Graduated Cum Laude with an Associates of Applied Arts and Science and obtained his CompTIA A+ certification.
Tony joined Zimco In November 2003. Tony has held many technical roles both for Zimco and Zimco's sister company, Air Advantage. Customers have benefited from his technical skills in network design, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of: Local Area Networks, Wireless Networks, Servers, Workstations, Internet Connectivity, Network Security, Network Traffic Management, and Video Conferencing. In Tony’s current role at Zimco, he serves as the Distance Learning Coordinator for the Huron Intermediate School District, and provides technology consulting and support to Harbor Beach Community Schools, Port Hope Community Schools, and other Huron County clients. He also provides assistance at Air Advantage for design, maintenance, and support of their large wireless network.
